Though unfortunate, being good at standardized test taking is required for access to higher education. Through my many years of school and the uncountable number of scantrons I have bubbled in, I have honed my test taking skills to a science. I hope to give students a solid, foundational understanding of the material and help them realize its usefulness in practical or test-taking scenarios.
I also spent 2 years as an undergraduate writing tutor, helping various undergraduate and graduate students on campus compose personal statements, term papers, and even master's theses. Not only that, but I have been through the painstaking experience of drafting a personal statement far too many times. I am well equipped to help students with any kind of entrance essay or personal statement.
HobbiesBesides studying molecular and cellular biology, I majored in music as a classical voice student in undergraduate. I performed both classical genres through opera and choir and contemporary genres through acapella music during undergraduate. This past year, I continued to pursue this interest by joining the Hartford Chorale.
In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, going to the gym, and reading the news.
